I am helping my daughter move from Santa Fe to Asheville at the end of May. We will be pulling a small(4'x8)trailer and plan to stop along the way at Red Rock Canyon State Park in Hinton, OK,Eureka Springs, AK, Hot Springs, AK, Summertown TN,then Asheville.
I need to know if there are any steep uphill grades that we will be encountering; any advice for someone pulling a trailer along this route? My husband, who grew up in OK is warning me about rattlesnakes. Should we be worried about this if we plan to camp in Red Rock? Any advice?
Lastly, my daughter is somewhat disabled, having extreme chemical sensitivity. We will most likely be arriving at the park the evening of May 25. Is it usually crowded on Memorial Day weekend, with lots of campfires? If so, is there apart of the park that will be more isolated and safer for her regarding smoke?
