Southwestern Entrance to Death Valley, Hwy 178

If you are going to Death Valley from the south and/or west do not use Hwy 178 through Ridgecrest and Trona. A section north of Trona was washed out by a flash flood several years ago and has not been repaved. It is the worst washboard dirt road I have ever been on.

After going over it there was damage to some of my cabinets in the trailer and I will not to that way again until the road is repaired.
