- The_TexanExplorerWe like Tampa East RV Resort, I-4 exit 14. It is right on the 2 main roads to the festival, exit 19, so you have 2 choices for a route, if one is backed up. The RV park is very nice, with choice of several types of sites and next to a couple fast food places and again, just a couple miles to excellent restaurants.
- BillMFlExplorerLZ Days is just a few exits west.
- Jim_ShoeExplorerWhen my parents retired, they bought a double wide in Titusville. My Dad would drive the 100 miles just to attend. He LOVED strawberries. He'd go through the line several times, removing the biscuit from the bowl before he got to the strawberries so the dish would hold more. It started a trend among the people at his table, until the servers noticed a trend forming, and made him put the biscuit back in the bowl. He argued that it wasn't called the "biscuit festival" but he lost. :)
- AlabamaTravelerExplorerTampa East RV is our pick. We have been to the festival several times.
- H345Explorer.
Tampa East , Lazy Days , or Pavement Docking at the TA .
. - modern_familyExplorerX3 for lazy days
- LamanExplorerAt the Festival look for the Amish donut booth and get the Amish donut strawberry combo, it's good enough to go to the festival just for it.
And I second LazyDays or East Bay - TexasVet01ExplorerIf you decide on Tampa East, make reservations early. Some years the park is pretty full (the Canadians haven't left yet plus festival visitors). We usually make our reservations a year early.
We will stop in on March 5th to listen to Crystal Gayle and eat a few strawberries. Next stop will be the All Florida Rodeo in Arcadia on the 9th of March.
Happy Travels....
