We made the trip in 2014 with truck and 1999 27ft travel trailer with no problems. I learned you have to travel about 30 to 40mph so you have time to slow down for holes and frost heaves. About the time you travel 50 one will sneak up on you and you can't slow down fast enough. Same thing on hill"s,s you have to have time to slow down. It was the best trip have fun.
