Williamsport to Harrisburg, Pa.

I've heard there is construction on 147 going into Newburyport, between I - 80 and US 15/ 11. Wondering if anyone has been through there in the last few days and can advise as to the difficulty passing through the construction. One of the local campgrounds recommends crossing the river into Lewisburg and then taking 15 south. I'm pulling a 36' fifth wheel. Please help and advise!

    You could come down 15. We did that about a month ago and it was fine.

    I have not been in that area for several months. And I don't know what you mean by Newburyport?
    A new bridge is being built over the Susquehanna river, south of Lewisburg.

    Hopefully someone has recent experience in the area.
