Anyone use I-65 lately?

I usually transit big cities in the middle of the day and take the route through downtown rather than wasting time with bypasses. Paid a price last week in Toledo where there was an accident that cost us a 45 minute delay. The construction is a mess but no biggie (42'6" 5th wheel)

We've tried some alternates including one year where the Garmin took us through downtown Toledo with our 5th wheel (no fun!), it took the short route but not the one that was easiest.

We also sometimes stay at Auburn on the way through north of Fort Wayne, so the toll road is a bit longer but less of a hassle.

You shouldn't have a problem.

US 24 is 4 lane interstate-like from Ft Wayne to Toledo and would shave some time & $ off of your trip.

Thanks everyone. I didn't see the I-65 thread when I did a search. Looks like there might be bridge construction in Louisville,KY. Otherwise, it seems okay.

I 65 from Montgomery to Louisville, KY is fine. To me, the worst part is going through Birmingham. There seems to always be roadwork or a traffic accident backing traffic up. The best time to go through Birmingham is midnight or later.
