If you like trout fishing, staying on the White River is a must. There are two RV Parks in Gassville on the White. Both are great. From there, you can get to Bull Shoals lake (8 miles) and Lake Norfork (8 miles). Norfork has many COE parks that are GREAT.
I live in Mountain Home (Lake Norfork). If you like hunting and/or fishing, you will love North Central Arkansas. Deer season opens in three weeks. When that happens, the deer will hide, up until then, be careful on the Roads.
