- mikefosExplorerPecan Park Riverside RV Park in San Marcos. We've stayed there many years.
- texasjaycoExplorerPotters Creek COE park on Canyon Lake (between Austin & San Antonio) is one of our favorites. Very well kept park with lots to do in the area.

- HeisenbergExplorerLake Georgetown ... Cedar Breaks COE then west on 29 is Granger Lake ... Willis Creek COE. This will leave you due north of Bastrop about 37 miles. I have not parked at Willis Creek in the RV we were fishing and I could not help but notice nice RV facilities. It could be the best place in Texas to catch Crappie. Cedar Breaks is elevated above Lake Georgetown and both of these parks were quality when we visited.
- rjr6150ExplorerThanks for the ideas.
We only need a space for the month of January. As starting February we are camp hosting at Bastrop State Park for two months. - HeisenbergExplorerLength of stay is not clear. McKinney Falls State Park or Lake Georgetown Cedar Breaks COE for a shorter visit. Austin Lone Star RV for a city stay. For an area stay I prefer Pecan Park in San Marcos it brings San Antonio into play.
