Best buffet in Laughlin NV?

What has been your experience with the buffets in Laughlin? I especially like seafood, but not oysters, mussels, sushi or any raw stuff. Fried shrimp, scallops, clams, catfish etc are what interests me. Thanks!

We only do buffets in a squeeze. Most people are just nasty and inconsiderate. It reminds us of pigs at the trough. They pick their noses, use the bathroom without washing, snort, sneeze, cough and ...

Harrahs used to be a clear cut above all the other Laughlin buffets. It was still halfway decent when I was there last spring..but not as good as I remember. Las Vegas in general much better.

I was in town last week for a day. Ate at El Palacio in Bullhead..a forgettable meal.

Agree with others on the Prime Rib room!!

I didn't say that YOU had to--I just noted that given the extreme advanced age of Laughlin visitors--their AVERAGE age is 70!!!--you're not going to find much decent food there. What you hear in most Laughlin restaurants is "Consarn it, Ethel, this newfangled butter on my toast makes my piles act up! Young whippersnapper waitress put ice in my water, too!" And the buffet is all mashed potatoes and meat loaf.

As a veteran of Vegas buffets and other restaurants, I am pretty turned off by the blandness and low quality of the food in Laughlin. It's about as much of a gourmet destination as it is a downhill skiing destination.

Laughlin does have one redeeming feature. If you visit there in the summer (Apr.-Nov.), you will be that much more appreciative of wherever you happen to live--no matter where that may be, it isn't Laughlin! Even Phoenix looks better by comparison. Well, maybe not Phoenix.

Living in Bullhead, we prefer to eat in Bullhead. That being said they do have some good eats in Laughlin. We just don't care for the buffets. Riverside cafe has good food. Prime Rib House in Riverside is great.
One of our favorites is in the Aquarius, Vinyard Ristorante (great Italian food) they have steaks etc also.
In Bullhead El Palicio for mexican food, Lisa's Bistro for sandwiches and salads.

Just some other ideas.

Pull up a chair where you can get a good view of the buffet....if after watching folks going thru the line and you still want to eat there then Harrah's

We rather go over to Bullhead and eat at one of the many restaurants.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

I second the vote for Harrah's. In general, Laughlin has truly awful food. The casinos cater to a crowd whose average age is 70 (!!!). Thus, it's all about food that can be easily gummed. The Aquarius gets good reviews for its buffet as well, though I haven't tried that one for about two years.

The saving grace is that Bullhead City, across the river, is (unlike Laughlin), a normal town with the usual array of services (Laughlin, in contrast, has exactly one grocery store). You can find plenty of places to eat there.

The breakfast buffet at both Harrah's and the Aquarius Casino are a good value. The Prime Rib Buffet upstairs at the Riverside is good. We have tried several of the other dinner buffets in Laughlin and have not been impressed. Don't expect Vegas or even Reno for that matter. If you enjoy craft beer there is a great microbrewery inside the Colorado Belle, they have good sandwiches there also.

Safe travels.
