How about the Olympic Peninsula - Port Townsend, Sequim area? Very pretty, not congested, lots to do.
Headed that way right now. More expensive but looks like it will be worth it. Thanks for suggestion. - MaverickBBDExplorerTry the Cedars in Ferndale if you can get in this time of the year. Otherwise Bellingham RV Park off of Bakerview (just for a night or two) then KOA in Lynden. Bellingham RV may be noisy due to it's proximity to the interstate BUT on the plus side shopping, dining, etc is within easy walking and buses are readily available.

- noxinnhojExplorerI hope others may chime in for you, have you considered point Roberts wa?you have to go through Canada to get there, lighthouse marine park, its a county park but no hookups, but there is a private campground close to the beach.Hazlemere rv park is in south surrey, right by the us border,(truck crossing),full hookups,wi-fi,etc.

not sure about those private ones but there is a really nice state park in birch bay.We go frequently, love the area, feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
I had ruled that one out due to limited number of elec. RV sites and only "1st come/no reservation" basis. If I am wrong let me know. Already in NW OR. so I need to make some reservations in a day or two. Fires in CO. wiped out our original plans. - noxinnhojExplorernot sure about those private ones but there is a really nice state park in birch bay.We go frequently, love the area, feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
