Campground on Lake Ontario

Was camping this weekend and somebody told us of a campground on the New York side but forgot the name. They said is was on an island and you get either a sunrise or sunset site. Also said you had to drive out a causway to get to it.

Any help would be great.

Think it is Wellesley Island State Park - along the St. Lawrence River.

We have camped there many times - great for canoe and kayak
