so here we are wondering where we can take our new to us fifth wheel camping around our great state of Washington, here's some information that might help, out fifth wheel is a 2007 forest river all american sport toy hauler and its 38 feet long, our previous rig was a 32 foot motor home, but now with the truck and trailer combination we are not sure where we can get into, so we are reaching out to the experts that have close to the combination of truck and trailer length, and are asking where you have camped at, remember I am a novice at towing and backing the trailer but time and experience will come later, so lets start with some easy places for us to get into, thanks in advance.

We camped in our 38' Montana at Bay View State Park near Anacordes. There are a three or four sites near the front that are large and easy to get into. And the view of the bay is great. Only issue at the time was the dump station was out of order. Don't know if they fixed it yet. Dump station at a rest stop on 5 about 25 miles away was just the ticket for out trip back south.

It takes some doing but if you go into the Reservation section it will show you a site description and the length of the site. Most parks on the East side have nice long spaces, but most on the west side you have to go thru each listing to find one to fit. Seems to me that Grayland has some for long rigs.

Also not sure you know this but Washington State offers seniors a really good deal for off season camping. I think it costs $50 bucks, but then the nightly rate is like $8 a night so we do most of our camping in the winter when its cool but cheap. LOL

OK just joking...Likely to get a bunch of responses. If you don't, google maps be your friend. You can see on the rigs your size your in business at different places. I am wondering if anybody has a complete list of locations and max size? Subscribed

We have enjoyed a few stays at Rest-A-While RV park on the Hood Canal on the 101. Very rustic but truly relaxing with a beautiful view. Nice basecamp.

Before taking on the CG trees you might want to try an empty carpark & some cones. Crushing cones is much cheaper than what a tree will do.
