There's also a KOA on the east side, in Strassburg. It is a KOA, so not much like a State Park, but it is only a mile off I-70, and run by a very friendly/helpful staff. We stayed there going and coming just last month. Sites are small and close together, but they do have sites suitable for big rigs, too. Very convenient for travelers.
