I'll second the recommendation of this place. My wife and I stayed here for a week just last July. All the state parks and private campgrounds were full. I have never made reservations for a campground before in my life. I'm glad we did for this trip. The campground is very nice although there is not much in the way of shade. We had one issue and it was readily dealt with when I mentioned it to the campground host. When we first got there there were some transients hanging around the bathrooms and showers. I mentioned it to the campground host when I bought some firewood and he said he chases them out and they usually don;t come back. We didn't see any more the rest of the week. It is close to red rock amphitheater and what is called the loop. The loop is a 40 some mile road that leads past many neat things like dinosaur tracks, Buffalo Bills gravesite and other neat things. Cost was considerably less than the surrounding state parks. We paid $20 per night for water and electric.
