Just 3 miles from Grayson Highlands Park

We stayed at Laurel Creek RV Park in Damascus. Nice 15 site RV park along the creek. I called the owner and he came by later to collect money. We biked on part of the VA Creeper Trail. It is beautiful. Very little pedaling required.

Ditto on Grindstone.

We dry camp at Bear Tree. Grindstone has electric. Both are in the Mt Rogers rec area.

Hungry Mother State Park is near Grayson Highlands State Park. Camp in the Burson CG. Large sites and some are FHU.
