CASINO OVERNIGHT IN MONTGOMERY
Has anyone stayed overnight at either of the two casinos in Montgomery Al. I was looking at stopping at the North one and was wanting to know if they let you overnight in the lot.

- A camp host at Gunter Hill said we should go for groceries in Prattville; he said there are areas on the southwest side of Montgomery "you just don't want to get lost in."

South Blvd. in Montgomery is a high crime area. Prostitutes often walk around the truck stop near I 65 interstate. A very nice COE campground is located about 5 miles from Montgomery. It is just past the airport. The new side is best. It has long, wide, pads with full hook up. No cable or wifi, but you can get 5 or 6 TV channels on antenna. The campground is on the Alabama River and with a Senior Pass you can stay for 12 dollars per night. Best wishes.
Gunter Hill COE Campground. Gone up to $13/night now. From the Old Selma Highway, don't turn in where your GPS tells you. Look for the small sign and a Dollar General Store instead. The Catoma side of the CG has been reworked and is much better than the other side. Full HU. Stayed there last week.- South Blvd. in Montgomery is a high crime area. - Can't say we have stayed in the CASINO areas but always stay along the east BLVD of Montgomery..
Used to enjoy the South BLVD areas where all the grand hotels and shops are at but over the years all of this turned into a CRIME AREA big time after dark... We have actually been pulled by the local police just driving around in the truck looking at old places we used to go to and being elderly was told this was not a safe place to be after dark... We went back to the East Blvd haha...
We used to stop at the Rv Camp place just across the street from the Truck Stop at the I65 road exit.
All of the grand hotels and places along the South Blvd are all boarded up now ( just a few years ago)...
We always stop in PRATTVILLE now when going through Montgomery...
Hope it has gotten better from just a few years back...
