Cities in Florida Due to FT Job Opportunities.

I have several potential cities in Florida to move to due to job opportunities and live in my RV full time:

The only city I'm familiar with is Panama City Beach and really like it there.

Here are some inquiries and need input with. Last Ill post the locations.

Considerations:
I wish to be reasonable close to the beach. Esp. the Gulf side.

Over all appeal- I don't like a dense city atmosphere.

Traffic

Tourist dwelling/ seasonal over population.

Nice/Safe/Comfortable area

Geographic beauty.

City Options:

(Wewahitchka}
(Chipley)
(Bonifay)
(De Funiak Springs)
(Wewahitchka}
(Chipley)
(Bonifay)

Full Time RV Park suggestions based on city proximity.
Hell we all know what type of private FT parks we are looking for.
Im single/mello and all the kiddos are grown and out on their own.
Just looking for a cool area, that provides near-by beauty.

Thanks for all your help. This is a lot to ask for.
Respectfully

You're right. I apologize.

Here's your post.

ENG2242.... re your original post... as agesilaus said, most of the towns you mentioned are north of I-10 and woodsy. Cedar Key, Steinhatchee, Perry is fairly close to water, Ft. Walton Beach, Carrabelle, Destin are all pretty much Gulf areas.

That was pretty intense. I deleted the flame war so we can maybe start over.

Not accusing anybody of anything, or maybe I am, but sometimes things get nutty after happy hour on the weekends. Let's reset the scene and try to resume a normal discussion.

I actually had to look up Wewahitchka which is near Dead Lakes which, IMO, is about as scenic as you would imagine but it is near the Gulf. The others are all up north of I10 I think and I guess some would think they are scenic, but they would not be high on my list. They are in wooded Florida pine/oak woods areas.

These are rural mostly tiny to small towns and I would not expect a lot in the way of job opportunities. But Florida had a very low unemployment rate overall before the plague and it should recover quickly. That's just guessing I have never lived up there. The society would be more like Alabama rural southern, not much like peninsular Florida. Not many large towns/small cities. Tallahassee would be the closest. And will be conservative don't expect a lot of progressives. Lots of retired military maybe tho I expect more of that further west.
Weather will be cold for Florida with some freezes in winter and hot in summer.
I know nothing of the RV parks there, it's too close for us to stop at.

The ones north of I10 are NOT close to the beach, it would be several hours away. Florida is a very big state and just looking at a map without knowing that can be misleading. Wewahitchka is in the area of Panama City and that area is still recovering from that hurricane.
