- Pangaea_RonExplorerThis is becoming an interesting day. A Mexican Navy ship arrived in the bay this morning with 2 patrol boats, and then 3 trucks with mounted 50 cal machine guns filled with Jalisco State Police have been driving around the village. They often seem to show up during 3-day weekends, but this seems different?
The streets are flooded and the arroyo and crocodile lagoon have flooding into the bay. - ScottGNomad

Thanks, I've stayed there and have never heard that name before, but that was during Whidbey Race Week which may explain why.
I'm currently on the beach in a small fishing village in Mexico expecting 6-8" of rain today and tomorrow. I've tried to send this 3 times, but with the power going out, rudimentary internet, and the heavy rain who knows if this will work?
Wow, and I thought it was raining hard here!
Sounds great otherwise - at least you probably have some great weather in the forecast. - Pangaea_RonExplorerScottG

Oak Harbor City Beach Park
Actually it's listed as Windjammer Park (City Beach Park). I designed the windmill there in the late '70s. It was interesting dealing with the different Dutch factions in the community then. There was more than one option about which region that the windmill should represent, and there were attorneys involved.

The general use park is called Windjammer but the RV park is called StaySail.

Thanks for the info.
We would like to go to Oak Harbor in the not too distant future.
I was planning on staying there if I could get reservations.
I hope it reopens and doesn't turn into a political fiasco.
Don't let this stop you from visiting, we have other camp grounds. - gboppExplorerThanks for the info.

It is all involved with the sewer treatment plant and having a place to put equipment, then returning to a camp ground in compliance with the water treatment plan.
Wow, 3 years. That must be a major reno project!
and no, there isn't many people here that are onboard with it. - Pangaea_RonExplorerOak Harbor City Beach Park
