Cottonwood COE near Crofton, NE

Is anyone familiar with the Cottonwood COE campground at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Gavins Point Project Dam near Crofton? It's right on the Nebraska-S.Dakota border on the Missouri River. We will be heading through there in early September and it seems like a great layover spot as we explore Nebraska. I'd like to do one of the back in sites (60P) facing East along Lake Yankton, but the site descriptions in Recreation.gov state a "slight" driveway grade which probably means backside lower than the front as the site slopes to the water. Just wondering if anyone has experience there? I can handle normal leveling, but have been in CG's before where "Slight" was a misstatement at best. I've looked on Google Maps, but it's impossible to tell. Thanks in advance.
  • We were just there last August, only we stayed across the Missouri river in the Nebraska tailwaters COE campground. We did drive through Cottonwood and the site description of a slight downslope would be accurate. The sites at Cottonwood were a little further apart than the ones at Nebraska tailwaters but the sites are pretty flat at the tailwaters. The front of the rv faces the Missouri river at the tailwaters
