If you're a Thousand Trails member, the Thousand Trails Orlando park in Clermont, FL is nice and the price is right. ๐Ÿ™‚

We too enjoy Tropical Palms CG. Many nice pull through sites, nice pool area, etc. The TP is huge and is a mix of owned sites, many park models on site, but the separation of the different types is well planned. As I remember, the last time I made a reservation with Tropical Palms, I had to pay the full amount of the stay at that point. But never had a problem over it, just different. We most often stay at the Fort at WDW, as it is our favorite CG of all we have used around the country over the years. TP seems to average about $10 a night less than at the Fort. I have timed the drive over to Disney and find it is about a 10 minute drive to EPCOT from the campground.

We have stayed at the KOA, which is just on east of TP a few miles. It was satisfactory as well but we prefer TP. We normally only stay at TP if the Fort is full and we can't get a reservation.

We've been down there often and always stay at Tropical Palms. Close to entertainment, great beaches, food and it's next to I-4 to make the drive to Disney, Universal, etc really easy.
