Disney World area campgrounds with shuttle to Disney

Hello,

My daughter has asked us to go to Disney with them this November. I tried Fort Wilderness and it is booked solid. When talking to them they stated November and December are their busiest times. Our daughter wants to go then to see the Christmas decorations.

We have dogs so taking the RV is the best for us and them. What I am looking for is a decent campground close to Disney that perhaps has a shuttle to Disney. My daughter and her family will be staying at Port Orleans.

Any advice is appreciated!

We just came back from Disneyland and we stayed at Anaheim RV park. Its only about two blocks as the crow flies but because its across the freeway its a couple of miles. They have a shuttle there which leaves every 20 min. Cost is 5.50 per day reg or 2.00 senior rate. Great place

Call Hilda. I'm willing to wager she will find a site for you.

Try Lake Magic in Clermont. It is only about 20 min away from Disney. It is an Encore park and is on Hwy 192 just E of 27.

The big problem with Fort Wilderness is the reservation policy and of course its popularity. You can reserve as much as you want for almost no deposit(usually one night) then change it or cancel 5 days out for no fees.
There are travel agencies that specialize in the Fort. They will watch for you and make the reservations when they open up. Wishuponastarwithus, dreamsunlimitedtravel or mousefantravel are a few that are out there. Do some research on the web and go from there. The agencies usually don't charge you anything above the rates for the park.

Wherever you decide you better book it soon. We're spending winter in Florida next year and heard a lot of "we're all booked up". Fortunately we found a nice place on the Space Coast.

I asked him to do one thing and he didn't do any of them.

What time of the month? The 1st week of December is usually the slow time...

Keep calling, I am sure they will open more sites..

I just looked into this and since we have three dogs the cost is prohibitive. For a mid value which would allow for the three of them to stay together would be $1215.00 dollars for our intended stay.

Can not answer the shuttle question, but you might consider Uber. Worked very well on our last visit. But we did stay in a motel
