'docking in Prince Rupert

Being a true boondocker and not one of those that must be 100 miles from anyone....we were in Prince Rupert for three nights this last weekend.

First night was at the head of the ferry line for Port Simpson. First on, first off...right?

Second night was at the Seal Cove seaplane base and this was out our window. The b&w one is just a bonus.

Third night was down by the RCMP/Border Services Marine offices. Nice patch of grass and really...who is gona bother us there?

And dinner, that night was 5 fresh crabs, donated by a fine gent we met at the local brew pub.

If you'd like to see the whole of the weekend...

  • It looks nice and chilly and moist! Speaking as someone stuck in an endless cycle of hot dry California weather, Prince Rupert looks very good to me. Maybe not every day, but it sure would be a good change of pace.
