Kid,

It's in the Travel Guide and I've been to that lodge. But let me ask you is it a city restriction or lodge restriction? Most lodges that have parking room are happy to have the extra income if not additional money to be spent inside the lodge. So what is the Kingman current status/policy for a typical Elks RV traveler?

Regardless exceptions are made. Some lodges will allow RV guests if they are with a member and room is available for example.

It is a city thing. They tried but I guess it was a nightmare so they just gave up. Call them plead your case they might or might not let you spend the night. It would be just a parking lot no anything but a parking space

Because of the city there are signs at Wal-Mart saying no over night parking but I don't think it is inforced but the is a lot across the street next to Craker Barell that I have seen people parked there for over a week. There are 5 RV parking in Kingman and 2 that Im aware of in Golden Valley and they are in the process of building another

We stay at the Elks often however I always make sure they have sites available before we arrive. We have a few that are "destination" places that we would stay a week....otherwise most are a great stopover etc. Not to mention the Lounge at any Elks is the best ๐Ÿ˜‰

Your can just show up and ask if they have any sites available or you can call and see if you can make reservations. The Elks RV parks will also let you park in the parking lot even if there no RV sites available for that night. Your also have to show a current Elks membership card.

We use them quite often. Found it is best to take a moment and email or contact the ER directly and politely ask. Be sure to ask if you can leave a donation for their hospitality.

Just came back from a two and a half week trip from NJ to OH, KY, TN, WV, and VA... stayed at two lodges along the way for a quick overnight... the great thing is you can roll in late and usually not disturb anyone by doing so.

Would like to thank the Alliance, OH Elks Lodge #467 and the Front Royal, VA Elks Lodge #2382 for their hospitality.

BTW - MarkTwain... think I might have met you this morning if I am not mistaken... PM me if we met at the Front Royal Lodge today...

X2. I've used available lodges many times over the years. Always call ahead and don't forget to ask for specific concerns about approaching the lodge.

Some Elk Lodges are beginning to allow you to make reservations. One problem with Elks Lodge RV parks is that some Lodges allow RVers to stay for long term periods which limits the number of sites available for RVers who are traveling and only want to stay a few days and then move on. i.e. Salem Oregon, Hillsborro Oregon.

In fact, right now we are in the Boulder City, NV. Elks Lodge RV Park. We use them frequently if there is a lodge nearby that has either RV parking or a park. Of course local municipalities rule what can be done along with some input from local RV parks that sometimes will pitch a b----. We have used Spokane, WA., Kalispell, MT. Coeur d'Alein, ID. and several others. The only time we check for availability sometimes is at Boulder City. They tend to fill up late spring and early fall as the snowbirds leave or head back to the Pac NW.
When we were in Alaska in 2014 we had brain fade. There were several Elks Lodges that we could have used but due to brain fade we tanked!
No amenities or amenities vary from lodge.
Eagles, Moose Lodge, VFW and American Legion also offer parking to members in some locations.

And do you know why?
True they don't have any facilitys, but I ask if a friend could stay a night in the parking lot out back and they didn't have a problem with it.
