Finding last minute sites in the Keys.

Question

Decided to go to the Keys for the week after Christmas on the week before. There are plenty of CGs that do not advertise so using Mr Google and searching by each key I was able to find two openings on Key Largo on the first try. While down here I checked out a new park... Point of View and they had plenty of openings, even in Feb. Not much shade but plenty of different type of gravel sites $$$; waterfront, pull through, and back in for $2K/month or three day minimum  Largo is the first key and it's large enough to have plenty of things to do, eat, or buy. Bring plenty of sun screen.

Being Army Retired, I stay in Key West at the Naval Station Campground for less than $20 a day.

The 2K a month rent would almost pay for my 2 month trip to AZ in it's entirety. That would include fuel, food, lot rent, dinners etc. There isn't a lot anywhere that would be worth that to me. I could stay for a month in a nice hotel for less...
