FISHING IN MINNESOTA
Looking for a place in the lakes area of Minnesota to spend a couple months fishing this next summer. Any ideas?

Highly recommend the Federal Dam COE northeast side of Leech Lake. SO beautiful and well-kept. Best fishing. Kind of far to do any shopping, but Longville is 30 minutes south with a grocery store. There IS a tiny market across the road from the campground.
"The Lakes Area" is probably referring to the stretch between Brainerd and Leech Lake, but the area between Alexandria and Detroit Lakes is also called The Lakes Area by some.
