Flagstaff RV park

Hi Morley - My favorite is Munds Park RV resort just a few miles South of Flagstaff. Nice park with lots of room. As you can see from my signature, we're from Arizona, so we spend a lot of time in the Flagstaff area. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a private message.

We enjoyed J&H RV park when we visited Flagstaff. Stayed twice in the past. Very nice people, clean park, well maintained.
However, I would suggest using Williams as your basecamp. I really like Circle of Pines KOA. It has large sites, easy hookups with many sites having multiple dump and water hookups making it easy for any rig. Clean, friendly, and just far enough off the highway as to keep the noise down. Lots of trees and a lovely indoor pool and spa. Williams is 15 minutes outside of Flagstaff, so shopping in Williams or Flagstaff is easy.

Williams is 58 miles west of Flagstaff. If you are driving it in 15 minutes please stay in California.

We stayed in J&h cg in June. certainly adequate as a base. Not far from the Interstate, north on 89.

In the immediate Flagstaff area there are Black Barts, J&H, Flagstaff Grand, and Kit Carson.

No offense, but Williams in 30 miles WO Flagstaff. But you're still not going to drive it in 15 minutes.

Actually, if it were me, I'd stay in Williams myself. And if you get a chance, book a day trip on the Grand Canyon rail-road. It will take you from Williams to the South Rim and back. You can do a one day turn around, or arrange for a cabin in the park over night. Lots of fun, especially if those darn train robbers happen to hit again....

I have used J & H and KOA. J & H was pleasant. Stay away from the Flagstaff KOA, rude people, very un-level sites, and the trees need some serious trimming.

J&H in Flagstaff is 'cool' and the best for your purpose of siteseeing the area. Williams is out of the way and much hotter. J&H is also right on Hwy 89 and you'll be taking that on your way to the North Rim. While there, be sure to do the loop drive of Sunset Crater Nat'l Monument.
