Has anyone stayed here? I understand there is a new and old campground. I also know there are premium sites (some with sewer, but most without) and improved sites.

We plan to be there next week for a few days and would like to know which sites and campgrounds are more spacious with electric and water at least.

Thank you.

Very nice park and the newer sites are nearer the water. Sewer mostly only at handicap sites as mentioned. We stayed at several of the LA SP's on our way to TX for the winter.

Have stayed in Fountainbleu a number of times. As said, only a few sites with sewer. We liked Fairview-Riverside a little farther west. Sites seem to be a little larger and there is premium sites near the water that a quite a bit larger. Both parks have free and strong WI-FI. No cable but picks up the N.O. channels. Several excellent restaurants nearby.

We used to visit those parks quite a bit but have moved to Texas. Used to have a peacock on the grounds. There is an old home on site with free tours with a campground receipt.

The newer sites are a lil larger than the older ones; there is only 3 or 4 sites with sewer and are usually for the handicapped.Look ate the sites on their website and then look at google earth view for a better idea of what sites look like. Right now it is not crowded and when you show up just ask to go look and pick out one you like.
