We have stayed at Fredericksburg RV Park and Quiet Creek RV Resort and enjoyed them both.

I recommend Kerrville Schreiner Park. I have camped there over 45 times in the last five years. It is a great place to use as a home base for exploring the area. Yes it is a nice park with free Wi-Fi. Problem is free means nothing works. Both times we have stopped for a 4 night stay.

We always stay at the Fredericksburg KOA. We are not in any way partial to KOAs generally, but this is one we like.

Make sure you ride the Three Twisted Sisters.

We stayed at the Guadalupe River RV Resort for a month and it was OK. Internet bad.

It's changed to a Jellystone park so probably not geared to snowbirds and bikers.

I'll check out some of the suggestions as we plan to spend another month in the area on our way back from AZ March / April.

Some of the friends we made there moved to Old River Road RV Resort and like it there but it's by the airport and that might be annoying.
