Free Parks Canada discovery pass

Parks Canada is offering a free pass according to the terms and conditions "The 2017 Parks Canada Discovery Pass provides the passholder with unlimited entry to all participating National Parks, National Marine Conservation Areas and National Historic Sites administered by Parks Canada. (Note: Discovery Passes provide the holder with all of the opportunities and services that normally come with a daily entry pass or permit. Activities such as camping, tours, or parking that normally carry a separate fee may not be covered by the Discovery Pass. Camping fees are not included with the Discovery Pass).
U.S residents appear to be eligible.

Canada will be extremely crowded in 2017. Not sure if it would be worth it.

Canada is just a little bigger than the US in size, but there are more people in just the greater Los Angeles and NYC areas than the entire population of Canada.

Canada will NOT be crowded, let alone 'extremely crowded'.

And since 75% of the population of Canada is within 300-500 miles of Toronto the rest of the country is relatively open

  • May not be so crowded after all darsben1 with the number of responses you've gotten on this post. We plan to go in September so that's usually a less crowded time of year anyway. Thanks again.

Your total investment is 10 minutes take a chance

  • Thank you for the link. It's legit and a secure site. I had read before, or thought I did, that one had to purchase 2 years to get the 2017 pass free. This will save a lot of money. Years back we traveled to Canada for a two week trip and purchased a parks pass because it was less expensive than to pay individually. This is great! I ordered ours.
