Gas way down

Gas prices are going up, not down. Yes, cost per barrel is going down, but due to refinery problems and turmoil, gas prices are going up.

Ours went from $2.29 one day to $2.55 the next then two hrs later settled in at $2.69. Other towns near by went up to $2.89. Like previously stated, going up! It just depends on where you are, and if you are near the refinery having problems.

Just went to $1.99 in NE Alabama. According to CNN and local news expect another 20-30 cents drop by end of the year. May hit 1.50 per AAA. Diesel is also falling.

But we all know that when we start our migration south it will rise to an all time high the day we go to fill up !

He lives in IL, that's how and why his is going up .... :)

I agree...depends on location, which I did not put in my post. IL seems to swing up during refinery issues. Not sure why...was only stating my observation. However, when we travel south or west (for just about all our RV trips), I always try to fill up in KY or TN or MO or IA or IN....get the better price!

It's not really effecting our plans because our snow birding season is coming to an end, we are heading home in a couple days. However, if gas prices stay "low" as predicted, we'll probably be camping more when we get home.

Right now, October 2015 contracts for unleaded gas are trading at $1.33/gallon, that's what the OP is talking about.

It went in SE WI because of the refinery thing, and in the past 4 days it's dropped $.30 and is already below $3.00 again. So yes, it depends on where you are.
