Gatlinburg RV Parking?

We plan on visiting Dolly for Christmas. Been there a zillion times, however, we always had a trailer and a TV. We now have a Class C 32 foot Jayco Greyhawk and I don't plan on towing a toad or renting a car. Normally when we run up to Gatlinburg we park in that deck behind the aquarium.

Does anyone know where we might be able to park the monster while we run around the town for a few hours?

    I do recall a lot over towards Bennett's bbq, or a street or two over that would fit. Also some on the south side. I'm sure there must be others as well. I'm sure you can forget street parking, especially at that time.

    Have you thought of parking at the Visitors Center and taking the Trolley to town?

    X2, we did this with the long bed crew cab. Much easier than fighting the downtown traffic and tight parking spaces. When we were there last Spring the parking was free and so was one of the trolley routes.

    You guys talking about the visitors center that's about halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg? There are multiple Gatlinburg visitor's centers listed on google maps.

    Yes, the one between the two. I was going to make this suggestion, also. The trolleys are easy to get on/off at the different areas of town and at a pretty low cost.

    What CG will you be staying in? There are some that the trolley comes to (or near) the CG and you can get on there and won't have to move your camper.

    The trolley you're referring to will drop you off at the Gatlinburg Aquarium. On the way back to the visitors center you probably won't go straight back to the parking lot. He usually makes several stops on the way back...at least he did with us.

    Thank you much for the links. Does anyone know if the "brown" south route goes all the way out to the Pine Mountain RV Park? That's where we're staying. Heck if goes there we might as well use it for all transportation to Dollywood, restaurants etc.
