- hcs1947ExplorerThe Southeasstern Wildlife Exposition will be going on Feb. 14-16th if that is the weekend you will be there. Lots of exhibits, arts, crafts (as in custom knives, furniture etc), dock dogs, etc. Google SEWE. Prices for tickets very reasonable.

If you don't have a place to stay yet we highly recommend Oceanside RV Park.
Charleston - Coos Bay, OR.
Enjoy.... - dicknellenExplorer IIReason I asked what state we are visiting Charleston Oregon next month. Neat little seaside city near Coos Bay. Dick
- HappyCamper89ExplorerGo on a walking tour of the downtown area. Very walkable city. Really neat to see all of the old houses and their courtyards. Be sure and walk to The Battery area. The plantations are nice. We went to Middleton and Magnolia Plantation. Both were nice, but Magnolia also has a nature (swamp) walk with lots of birds and wildlife.
- doughereExplorerHistory, nature/birds, micro breweries and good food.
History: everywhere
nature/birds: all over; favorite spot for birding is the end of Pitt St in the suburb of Mount Pleasant, the remnants of an old bridge that went to Sullivans Island juts out into the sound and is a great place for water birds.
micro breweries: can't help, but this is a serious drinking city.
good food: you've come to the right place.
We stay at James Island County Park AT LEAST once a year, and have never run out of things to do or see.
Regards,
