- RGar974417ExplorerWe were at Huntington Beach SP during Christmas a few years ago. Temps varied between 80 and 50. Most days were sunny.Early November should be fine.
- mgirardoExplorerYou may want to go a little further south into Florida. November is pre-Snowbird season, so it won't be overly crowded yet. In Jacksonville, there is Hannah Park. It's not on the beach, but it is a 10 minute walk or a couple minute drive or bike ride from the beach. A little further south to St. Augustine will give you several options for beach camping. We like North Beach Campground. It is right across A1A from the beach, just cross A1A and you are on the beach. There are other options on A1A as well.
-Michael - Campingdad18ExplorerThanks! We have gone to sc so much but that might be our best
Bet. Maybe Huntington Beach or something. - kerrlakeRooExplorerI know you said Ga, but there are very few if any beachfront locations, you may want to check SC. A couple of state parks and some private.
- mgirardoExplorerThere are no campgrounds on the beach in GA. The closest you'll get is Jekyll Island Campground on Jekyll Island, a few minutes ride or 15 minute walk to beach. Or River's Edge on Tybee Island, GA a short walk or ride to the beach. Tybee Island is about 15-20 minutes from Savannah.
No frost in November. Usually not until late January. It's not unusual to see 80 degrees on Christmas Day.
