Grassy Flat vs Panther Flat USFS Campground -- Calif.

Question

We will be staying 1 to 2 nights near Gasquet CA while visiting the Redwoods. I found of of US-199 the above two USFS campgrounds but could not find much info/reviews. Reads like Grassy flats in near the river. I do not know about Panther Flat. We may be able to get reservations at Panther Flat.

Of the two which is best for a 32 foot TT? Any other information is welcome.

There are a few photos of Panther Flat on Campendium, which lists max length as 40 feet. One of the photos shows a fair-sized Airstream.

I've not been there. When I visited the Gasquet area some years ago, I boondocked in a spot that would be inaccessible to a 32 foot TT.

Panther flat is great. I live up the road from it. Last summer they had problems with their water, not sure it's fixed. Jedediah smith is the most well know campground in the area. It's right down the road in hiouchi. I've been down every Forest service road in the area dozens of times but I can't remember grassy flat.
