Need suggestions for a big rig friendly campground near the Great Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. Also, anything nearby that we should not miss?

We stayed at the KOA. Very nice park with lots of room. Free shuttle to the downtown area and Temple Square. Saw the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform FREE! Make time for the tour of the Mint..(sorry, no free samples, I asked)....Dennis

Many folks like the SLC KOA, but I prefer to go all the way through and stay at Lakeside RV in Provo.

The main attraction is the LDS Temple in downtown SLC. The Bonneville salt flats are to the west of SLC.

Many years ago we stayed in a RV park just outside of Salt Lake City. It was great and family friendly with lots of things for kids to do.
