We stayed at Holiday campground over the Labor day weekend. I wanted to give a heads up to anyone that might have a reservation or considering one. The electrical at our campsite (#17 - 30 amp) was not working properly. We had to use site 16 (luckily it was vacant) and it was a 50 amp service. So we had to drive to Wal-Mart and get a 50 amp to 30 amp converter. Which eventually corrected the problem. But my husband spoke with other campers and they were having similar issues. We reported our issue to the campground and so did the other campers but they did not seem concerned. This is a big deal for obvious reasons but the main reason is that the electrical would work for a couple of seconds and then quit. Which would alert the fridge to switch to gas and the AC to shut off. Then it would kick back on and then off. which of course can cause problems with the units themselves.
