- bob213Explorer95 is a straight shot and better road, just a little more west.
- azdryheatExplorerSure you can take the 72 but the 95 is a whole lot better.
- NMDriver2ExplorerI use 72 frequently pulling a 30ft 5er. 72 has less traffic, is more direct, avoids Quartzsite traffic, and the road is in good condition. I get off of I-10 at Exit 45 and fill up there. The fuel is generally cheaper than in Quartzsite and the pumps are a lot easier to get into and out of.
- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIWe always take 72 off of I-10 at exit 45 when going to Parker, the river, Lake Havasu, Laughlin etc.. Will do it again this month on our way to Buckskin Mountain SP.
Staying on I-10 to Quartzsite and taking 95 north adds miles and traffic, nothing to be gained there... both routes are mind-numbingly boring and ugly.
As always... Opinions and YMMV.
:C - mittshelExplorerI like 72. Anything to get off of 10. Betsy.
