Knoebels at halloween

Never been just getting some opinions, also I have a 38 ft camper and just wondering if it is easy to maneuver in there I am on Nova Scotia street. Thanks in advance
  • We stay in the Canada section for the Cover Bridge Festival and we have a 42' 5th wheel towed with a semi, we ( I ) do have to be selective on which turns I make but I really do not have any issues getting around or in the site. I believe we camp on Manitoba
  • We have always stayed at lake glory. Most of the full hook up sites are large, I have 37 ft FW. Shuttle is always going or simply drive over. I always thought being by the park would be loud with the coasters right by. The office workers have always been great.
  • We stay there often, the sites at the bottom are for sure much smaller.. We camp in a 42’ fifth wheel and get around gingerly, but we get around ( up top ) . No water or sewer... you have to either come filled, or use their filling station.. and use the dump on the way out, that is where you get held up sometimes..

This year we decided to try their other campground called Lake Glory. It is about 3 miles away with FULL HOOKUPS.. and free shuttle back and forth.. Since the kids are grown up, we decided to give it a try
  • The sites closer to the park (with US state names) are indeed smaller according to my memory too. Canada sites are further away but larger. I think I ended up in Nova Scotia when I was there last, and there was decent room. Maneuvering in and out may be a bit of a challenge if the people in the site across are parked inconsiderately, but for the most part that doesn't seem to happen too much.

More generally, the campground is a well-run operation and they generally wouldn't direct you someplace you wouldn't fit. It isn't a place with exquisite amenities or fancy sites, but it is clean and well-kept and entirely adequate, and the amusement park is exceptional. If you haven't been to it before, you're in for a treat.
  • I'm sure you already inquired about your site length, I've seen lots of large rigs, many Large class A's, especially in the klondike rd area where we have been camping for many years. our area is a newer area and farther away from the campground entrance. Not sure where your area is but it has been my observation that sites closer to the campground entrance seem to be on the somewhat smaller side.
