We’ve stayed there many times on the way back home to central SC. The folks have always been helpful, easy on/off I95, and quite frankly it is news to us about the trains as I don’t remember hearing them. Yes, just like many or most KOA’s or commercial campgrounds there is a permanent section which of course helps them to stay in business. For an overnight stay where you can fill your propane tank, wash some clothes, get some great food just down the street, not bad.
