We are planning our trip for next year. Looking to start off a three week journey at Lake George and visiting Niagara Falls NY with maybe a stop in between or on the way home to NJ. Can anyone recomme...

Lake George RV Park is the best. We drove through Moose Hillock a couple weeks ago while in Lake George. It is brand spanking new and all of the sites are very nice. The only problem is that it is so new and no new growth is there, so the campground is somewhat barren, but there is substantial tree cover on most sites. It will be really nice in four or five years. It has a great looking water park.

We did a similar drive through at Lake Compounce in CT just a few weeks ago. New campground opened on July 1...place was barren too, but in a few years once the new trees start growing in place the campground should look much better.
Would love to find an excuse to see Moose Hillock in NY... place just looks awesome on their web page. Hoping to get up there in the near future.
