Last on the road

Just a gripe. Maybe going to call us slushbirds We are certainly going to be the last snowbirds to hit the road. We were suppose to leave right after Thanksgiving, but medical issues with family and ourselves kept pushing the date further along. I was beginning to think we'd never get out of here, but it looks as if maybe, just maybe we will depart mid month. The one thing is we will probably have

We plan to travel the southwest, southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and then back thru northern New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, central Oregon and finally home.

A LOT of snowbirds don't head south till after the holidays. We still are getting people in our park daily here in south Texas and there are still many who haven't arrived that I know are coming.

Doesn't matter when you get here. Our weather has been crappy of late, so waiting another week or two will mean much better temps. Then we'll be crying it's too hot. Well, not me. . . . but some will.

That's funny you posted that. I've been thinking, we would be around Tucson about now and they are having snow. I'm up in the northwest and we haven't had snow yet.

  • We head south on the 19th for a couple of months. Lots to get done before then, but can’t wait.

We're not leaving for the south until next week so we can get a couple of new year appointments taken care of. We're currently on our upstate NY pad, and looking forward to enjoying warmer weather soon!

We'll be a week behind you.

Glad we aren't the only ones. Since we are on the opposite side of the US doubt we will be crossing paths but happy travels to you and family
