They don't have any trees, LOL, but you can't beat the location for getting to the beach. - Up_DownDeCoastExplorerNo Electric at Cape Henlopen and generators are not allowed at anytime.
- buckyExplorer IICape Henlopen does not have normal sites. View their gallery before reserving. You basically park in the road and face your site.
- BoarderExmanExplorerYou can walk to the beach at Cape Henlopen, however it is a bit of a walk. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches after May 1 till September 30. They are allowed in the campground.
- RGar974417ExplorerCape Henelopen State Park has a beach. They only have water hookups.Don't remember if you can walk Rover on the beach or not.But if you want to drive a little further,Kiptopeke State Park in Virginia has full hookups and you can walk your dog on the fishing beach. The SP is located at the southern end of the DelMarVa Pinninsula about a mile north of the Chesepeake Bay bridge Tunnel.

x2 on Delaware Seashore State Park
We like it. :)
X3..
We have 3 separate trips planned for there this summer....- spoon059Explorer III've never stayed there but I've driven past it a lot of times. Its essentially a parking lot underneath the Indian River Inlet bridge. I wouldn't object to staying their, but I would avoid the hotter months of the year. From what I recall they don't have too many trees and I'm sure it gets pretty warm.
That being said, it is right on the water, a short walk to the ocean, decent rates and quick access to Bethany/Dewey/Rehobeth beaches. - gboppExplorerx2 on Delaware Seashore State Park
We like it. :) - MerrykaliaExplorerDelaware Shores SP??? It's on an inlet, but the ocean is a short walk away.
