Also pay attention to the left side of the road about 2 miles before the campground. See a sign that says "RATs" Richard A. Taylor is his name. He's a lobsterman and sells right out of his garage about 1/2 mile up the dirt road where the sign is.also does mussels and steamers.
There is a small IGA 1/4 mile past the campground with all the groceries you'll need, gas and diesel about 1/2 past that.
No room for an RV at the gas station though.
Continue inot Southwest Harbor. Restaurants, ice cream hardware library post office. If you continue on a little more there is a scenic overlook into the harbor itself. In the morning there is a fisherman that sells his catch of the day there.
