Massachusetts in October

Don't worry about snow on the Cape until Christmas.(but anything can happen)

Atlanic Oaks is open throught oct. A lot of stuff will be closed down but easy access to mostly empty beaches.

Very rear do you get snow in lower New England in oct, especially in coastline areas and if you do see it, its usually
an slushy inch that disappears fast. That said it can get cold, morning frost sometimes. :)

We are up here for 6 months at my daughters from NC. As mentioned above, CG do close for the winter and anytime after Halloween you can expect that 4 letter word "SNOW".

Wonderful place, but most campgrounds shut down the Saturday after Columbus Day. Just when the weather gets great for hiking.
