There are a number of campgrounds along Lake Champlain. Two that I'm familiar with are Burlington North Beach park and Apple Island Resort.
North Beach is a city-operated park and campground. There's a lovely sandy beach, but no boat ramp. There is a boat ramp a couple miles away (downtown Burlington, by the Coast Guard station).
Apple Island Resort is a nice private campground/resort with a marina on-site (well, across the road). The campground isn't directly on the lake. They do have a nice antique tool museum (and other more typical campground amenities).
