Reccomend an RV park

Going to a funeral at Ft Custer, Michigan.
Anyone recommend a clean spacious RV Park for a week within thirty miles of Ft Custer/Battle Creek area, on water maybe?
  • Fort Custer is nice. Heavily wooded, lots of shady sites. Modern campground w/shower houses and flush toilets, but campsites are electric only. There are two lakes in the park, with beach and boat launch facilities, but no waterfront camping.
  • Thanks. We have been through Ft Custer State Park campground. Lots of trees, nice.
Kal County looks good and would provide the children with things to burn off energy and full hookups. Traffic noise?
Want to get in some fishing in Lake Michigan or Huron. The Michigan Huron shore is lee side and less throwing up for us but it is further away but cold as .......
    Thanks a bunch Folks. :)
  • No traffic noise at Kal County park. You'll feel that you're out in the country.
  • Fishing? If you're looking for shore or pier fishing, this site lists access points by county. Included are inland lakes as well as the Great Lakes. If you're up for something more exciting than sitting in a lawn chair on a pier, Google "Michigan charter fishing". This guy is out of South Haven on Lake Michigan, and offers perch fishing, which would be perfect for kids.
