Weather sealant or tape reccomendations

Hi All- Taking out our Minnie Winnie for a quick trip next weekend for Fathers day. It's been under the cover for a while since the cab over needs some major work and re-sealed. Can anyone recommend any type of weather type exterior tape to run over the seems with to prevent any water intrusion for a few days.

Thank you.
  • If you don't fix the water damage the water will always be inside and the whole thing will be soggy and rotten. I do use Eternabond generally, but I don't think it's great for temporary work.

Before I rebuilt my cab over (fall/Winter 2017) I had tried to use eternabond to keep things together and it failed. It works for water seal, but it has no structural support, especially in hot weather. In the heat it will stretch.
  • The cab over is primarily what needs sealed. There significant water damage that needs attention. The screws are rusted out and there is wood rot, so I don't think the caulk will hold up. What about eternabond?
  • Go to winabago web site and look up caulking for your model ... or grab whatever you think is best. Might be called caulking call out
  • Gorilla tape works pretty well for a temporary repair. Aluminum foil tape as suggested would also not be a bad option. Hopefully the weather will be cooperative and your tape will only have to keep sunshine out.
