Recommend an RV park

Can anyone recommend an RV park in central to south florida with woods dividing some of the sites, or any more private parks? I have to stay down there for two - three months. I can't live on top of that many people for more than a week or two. up north here I get my own yard , woods and everything I cant even see another RV from my site. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places down there? Or are the sites lots just really compressed and such a thing doesn't exist due to snowbird population?

X2 on Rock Crusher although it may not be far enough south for you. It was for us. It is wooded and friendly.
  • ill be there during busy season either Jan1-mar1 or feb1-apr 1.

All of these suggestions look much better than what I had been finding, Thanks a bunch.

  • Pretty much only state parks and county parks in FL are wooded and spacious. They have a 14 day limit. There are 2 parks that we like that are wooded although I wouldn't call them spacious. Williston Crossings in Williston FL (near Ocala) has lots of trees. I would ask for a space in the new section in the rear. Another option in Ocklawaha FL is Lake in the Forest RV Resort. This is not a modern RV park but more old Florida. Again, I wouldn't call the sites spacious but they are wooded.
