Sorry about the Meteor Shower. I was sitting out under the stars, waiting for a show too. But, you certainly scored on a great trip, just the same.
Seeing others enjoying their RVs, no matter what the weather and seasons bring, should be motivation for more to try it. Thanks for sharing your trip, with such great photos and narrative. I particularly loved seeing the snow, after a very dry and warm spring.
The wildflower you photographed was not Phlox but actually a very common spring wildflower, found in the Sierras. It is commonly known as; Jesscia Stickweed ~ (Hackelia micrathia)
