Going camping this year at Frontiertown. Any suggestions for eating out around O.C.? No fancy restaurants. We love pizza, seafood, steak, sandwiches. Thanks

Make the trip up to Fenwick Island, DE and go to Mancini's Brick Oven Pizza. It's HANDS DOWN the best brick oven pizza that I've ever had and I try sampling it everywhere I can. ๐Ÿ™‚ Other than that, my wife has yet to get a pasta dish that she didn't like.

The restaurant in the campground was very good last year. I recommend the seared tuna on a salad.

There is a place called Southside Grill and Deli right across from the Food Lion (on the left) on the main road to OC, maybe 3 miles from Frontier Town. They have good steak and cheese sandwiches and great salads and are close enough to pick up and take home.

The Rice House Bistro is also pretty good and not too far from Frontier Town.

Definitely go into downtown Berlin. A lot less crowded and the food, for the most part, is much better than what you can get for the price in OC.

The Globe Restaurant in downtown Berlin, MD.

Really good food in a real nice historic downtown area. And only a few miles from Frontier Town.

I highly recommend Barbelys for a good "home cooked" meal. Family owned and run. There used to be a menu on a Facebook page but I didn't search for it. Reservations are generally needed. And order your dessert when you order your meal....those home made pies don't last long. We generally have to get the dessert to go.

My best friend's family lived in Ocean View, DE; about 15 miles north of OC and we did lots of traveling to there. There are many, many great restaurants there, in Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach and Rehobeth Beach. Ask a local to recommend some places to you.

In Dewey Beach, we went to the Rusty Rudder many times and you would either get a great meal or it was horrible, no middle ground.

In Bethany Beach, we liked The Blue Crab, which was a buffet. It was usually pretty good, located in a strip mall.

Harpoon Hannah's was also a regular in our restaurant choices. It's located right on the border of OC and Fenwick, on the bay. Outside dining was really nice with the boats coming in/out.

Phillip's Seafood is all over the area and they do a great crab, but it can be a bit pricey.

Thrasher's Fries is a must-have, but don't under any circumstances ask for ketchup. They will take the fries away from you!!! Eat them hot with a little or a lot of the malt vinegar and lots of salt. YUMMY, my mouth is watering like crazy just typing this. There are several Thrasher's located on the boardwalk in OC, RB and up and down the DELMARVA peninsula.

We camped at Castaways last July. We found two great places to eat, Smoker's BBQ Pit @ 9711 Stephen Decatur Hwy and Decatur Diner @ 9609 Stephen Decatur Hwy.
